The Spire Story

Founded in 1999, Spire has established a solid reputation and proven track record as one of South Africa’s leading commercial real estate providers. We proudly service and support a significant number of national clients and manage office, industrial and retail properties. We take pride in serving a broad range of clients including individual property owners, private equity funds, listed property funds and multinational corporations. Our many longstanding relationships, developed over more than two decades are a testament to our hands-on, multi-solution approach to customer service.

Today sees us with an extensive and diverse portfolio of commercial properties under management (ranging from single-tenanted industrial units to large, multi-tenanted office buildings and shopping centres). This significant portfolio, spanning all South African provinces, enables us to leverage our industry experience to offer efficient property solutions at any location. We remain committed to improving the sustainable management of commercial property in South Africa.

The Spire head office is located in Claremont, Cape Town, with regional offices in Johannesburg and Durban. Strategic geographical positioning allows us to provide nationwide coverage for all property services

  • We have been operating for 25 years in the broader commercial property industry providing tailor made solutions to a number of businesses
  • Spire is a founding member of the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA). We support sustainable real estate solutions for people, planet and profitability.
  • Our roots are founded in the listed property sector through the inception of the Paramount Property Fund which was sold to Growthpoint Properties
  • We are also founders of JSE-listed Tower Property Fund in 2013 - with a diverse property portfolio including major retail centres and office blocks.
