The income of most real estate agents is not based on salary, but instead, agents will receive pay based on how many properties they sell or lease and the cost of the properties. If an agent has good people skills and a strong work ethic, they can find themselves doing very well.
Work Independently
Another benefit of being a real estate agent is the opportunity to work independently. Unlike most jobs, realtors are often their own boss. Additionally, they will not have to stay in one place for a considerable amount of time and will often find themselves having the opportunity to be outdoors.
Set Own Hours
In conjunction with working independently, real estate agents can also set their own hours. Usually, these hours will be based on the needs of the clients. If the clients are not able to visit potential proeprties until the afternoon, then the broker will not have to go to work until that time if they chose not to. That said, it's still hard work getting business so they might spend other hours of the day cold calling, developing marketing campaigns etc. in order to prospect new clients.
Build a Business
When real estate agents are able to make their clients happy, there will be the possibility for others to be referred to them. With each satisfied client, the possibility of expanding the business will increase. Also, many real estate agents will have the opportunity to take advantage of, and leverage global partners; therefore, they will be able to reach out to some of the most successful real estate brokerage firms.

The successful candidates will be responsible for brokering deals for the sale and lease of commercial properties in all the major centers in South Africa.
